Celebrating You!

Happy beautiful, sunny Sunday!

Today we are celebrating! We are celebrating nature. We are celebrating all our furry best friends. We are celebrating all the options we have in our lives, and we are celebrating each other!

Do you ever read a book or spend time with a special friend and realize in that moment how much we have to celebrate? Maybe it is just time spent alone when the realization hits us.

Chin up. We are keeping this blog above the line. That means positive because their is always something to be happy about.

This blog is becoming a part of who I am, and with every passing moment I become more and more passionate about life and animals. I become more and more passionate about being happy.

What opportunities are you looking for in your life? Are you happy with where you are right now? I hope so, but if not, I hope you will talk with a friend about your dreams. Share the positive in your life and you will inspire each other through the tough times to get to where you want to be. Sometimes talking with your furry friends makes everything seem better too, because most often they share answers with us by being by our side or giving us a big lick across our cheek.

It has taken me several years, but I feel like I am truly on the path of my dreams, doing things that make me, well.....me. It has been a bumpy, curvy, sometimes straight uphill road that has lead me into a backwards spiral. I believe that backwards spiral is what gave me the strength to see my purpose and to keep going. No judgment here. I have had heartbreak and health scares in the last several years that have really opened me up to continuously keep moving and changing and believing even more in humanity.

What do you love to do? Are you using your love to help and inspire others? I have spoken with many amazing women in the last few weeks that have inspired me, and given me the power to know we are all moving forward together.

When we stop thinking about what others think of us, life becomes so much more fun. Seriously, be you, because like this quote says, "You have to believe in yourself when no one else does. That's what makes you a winner." Venus Williams

I want to share with you what I have been doing in my life to become the person I want to be.

1) Read every single day. There are so many phenomenal self development books out there for us. I also read books about animals and grooming to stay up on the latest trends and because I love to learn. I read for pleasure and I also read other peoples blogs. Now, I am reading more about fashion. I do this every single day.

2) Write in a journal. This is ultimately empowering. I write every day. I make lists, I write down my thoughts and dreams. I write down where I want to go and how I feel. Then, once you have your journal started, go back and reread what you wrote. Often this can be the most empowering thing you can do for yourself.

3) If I am unhappy with what I am doing, I change it. Sometimes this can be really hard and often you will start to wonder if others will judge you, but I believe if we stay unhappy, no one will notice but us. So, move forward and move that pivot foot into the direction where you can see change. It is a blessing to learn and grow.

Having a love for many different things is so empowering! For me it is ok to do things that do not seem to fit the status quo. I am a pet groomer and I love it. Having the dogs trust me and the conversations we share are something I hold close to my heart. I work with a company where I can share safe products with my pets and other pets too. Now I also work with a company that has absolutely nothing to do with animals, but everything to do with their human Momma's.

This blog direction has gone off path from my last few that have been all about our pets. I just had to get these thoughts onto the screen where letters become words and sentences. So many people are unhappy or not sure where they want to turn. So many women I talk to are scared to try something new. I feel if we just keep talking we can take away the fear and we can all step forward together.

So today I ask you to stop and grab some paper and start a journal. Write it all down without trying to control your thoughts.

I ask you to go for a walk with your dogs or go out into your backyard and think about where you are in your dreams and if moving that pivot foot might be just what you need to feel empowered today. Believe me you have support all around you.

Today I ask you to celebrate you! You are amazing and beautiful. You are fabulous. We will keep on walking together!

Hug your dog and your cat too. Laugh out loud, pay it forward and always remember to follow your heart and your nose.

Hand to paw,

Vicky
